The ACR1552U USB NFC Reader IV is a CCID & PC/SC compliant smart card reader, developed based on 13.56MHz contactless technology. This plug-and-play NFC reader is equipped with a high-speed communication capability of up to 848 kbps and a built-in SAM slot, providing key diversification and mutual authentication to enhance the security of contactless transactions.
One of the feature highlights of the ACR1552U is extensive support for various types of smart cards, including ISO 14443 Type A and B Contactless Cards, MIFARE® Cards, FeliCa, ISO 18092 NFC, and ISO 15693 Cards. The reader has USB firmware upgradability and extended APDU support, making it versatile and cost-effective hardware for various industries, such as finance, healthcare, and government.
It also offers intelligent support for three modes of NFC including,
• Smart Card reader/writer mode
• Card emulation mode
• Keyboard emulation mode (Configured by this tool)

In transportation and ticketing feild, the traditional payment is by a simple paper ticket that bears some of security features, like florescent ink, security line, latent image, barcode, infra-red ink.
