UHF RFID tag, normally refered as ISO18000-6C & EPC C1G2 protocol compliance rfid tag,of coure there are also ISO18000-6B protocol uhf rfid tag, but such 6B protocol rfid tags are gradually marginalised, so hereby we only write uhf rfid tags based on ISO18000-6C protocol rfid tag.
Firstly knowing the chip's memory map is important before encoding,
1. what is the chip's model?
2. what is the exactly chip's memory map?
Normally 6C protocol RFID tags memory divided into TID memory, ECP memory, user memory and reserved Memory.
TID memory- which is chip's UID, and is global unique ID, which has been fixed in chip factory, and it is not writable.
EPC memory- it is the most frequently used memory block
Uer memory- some chip without user memory, while some has, depended on user's requirements
Reserve memory- nromally for store access password and killing password
Below is impinj Monza R6 serial chip's memory.
Right now we just demonstrate impinj Monza R6 chip.
Before write, need to know its chip memory map and its address.
For example, write EPC memory, impinj R6 starting address shall be at 20, each address got 16 bit, say 2 bytes or 4 hex.
its reserved memeory, though listed on memory map, however, the killing password and access password is unable to be used, chip manafacturer has locked this memory block as non-operatable, so for impinj Monza R6 chip, actually it can't use password function.

Then you need to carefully consider what content shall be wrote into the UHF RFID tags, if it shall set password?然后进行仔细的考虑,我们需要存储什么样的数据到UHF RFID电子标签里面,是否需要加密
A typeical samples is textile RFID tag encoding methods, such as uniqlo rfid tag,
96 bit EPC, total can store 24 HEX, how to designate this 24 HEX to texile RFID tag is important, the following illustartion clearly shown a branded clothing memory types,
1- 14 HEX as commodity UPC
15- 19 HEX as Style, color, size...
20- 24 HEX as serial no
Access password and killing password shall be added as per needs, but need to pay attention that the RFID chip shall support this function, otherwise it can not be used, for example impinj Monza R6 chip is not supported.
Finally prepare UHF RFID reader ( such as zebra RFID printer or desktop uhf rfid reader) for batch writing.

The original EPC No of RFID tag is E28011606000000207A64E218B, default EPC starting address is from address 2, address 0 and address 1 actually could be omitted when writing

And the new EPC we wanted to write is 1234567890ABCDEF, consider the whole EPC length is 24 HEX, the last 8 hex filled with 0, then write 1234567890ABCDEF00000000
Query again the uhf rfid tag, the updated EPC No is set.
Pay attetion to starting address and EPC length before writing.
Access password and killing password operation is same as EPC, need to refer chip datasheet, and write HEX into designated address.
